2017 was a year of many firsts. It was the founding year of Mile Square Moments, and it’s been such a blessing to watch it grow over the past several months. I’ve found so much meaning in telling the stories of the Mile Square City and surrounding areas of NYC & Jersey City, and I can’t wait to see what stories 2018 holds. Thank you to all of my clients, for inviting me to be a part of your stories and special moments. It was an amazing year!
I’m also humbled by the wonderful group of people who’ve supported me as I’ve launched Mile Square Moments. HudCo, thank you for the business development brainstorms. Fellow photographers, thank you for the creative inspiration. Family & friends, thank you for your endless love & support. And to Matt, my incredible boyfriend, thank you for being my partner in this venture — thank you for scoping out locations with me, for giving up date nights so I could edit photos, for always being excited to talk about MSM, and for being a constant source of encouragement and motivation. I can’t thank you enough.
To rest and reset for 2018, I spent 10 full days back in Cresson, PA (my small hometown nestled in the central Pennsylvania mountains), with family and friends to celebrate Christmas and ring in the new year. Below are some of my favorite photos taken during the visit. Enjoy 🙂
Impromptu Backyard Photo Shoot on Christmas Eve
Snow on Christmas Day
Gram’s Annual Christmas Party
The annual family Christmas photo — the one time every year I use my camera’s self-timer, which doesn’t always work perfectly…as you can see from the funny blooper below. 🙂
Happy New Year!
