Jennifer and Keith’s Antique Loft wedding was so special to me for so many reasons! First, these two are just genuinely lovely people to be surrounded by. Second, they had their first look and took their wedding portraits on Pier A (where I got engaged myself!). On top of all that, their venue Antique Loft is a Hoboken staple and one of my all-time favorite local wedding venues. If you’ve been considering this iconic wedding venue and are looking for classic wedding ideas to inspire you, you’re going to love this wedding feature as much as I do. I wish I could relive this beautiful day over and over again!
Hoboken Wedding Photography Review
Before I share all of the beauty and precious memories of the day, I want to start by sharing this incredibly thoughtful review! I couldn’t have been more grateful to capture their wedding day!
My husband and I were so lucky to have found a local photographer who made our special day even more memorable! From our first phone call, Devin made us feel completely at ease and ensured that she could capture the vibe we were going for. She took the time to ask us about any specific shots we wanted and went above and beyond to review the timeline multiple times, making sure everything ran smoothly. Her attention to detail and dedication to making us feel comfortable all day truly set her apart. After sharing our photos with friends and family, they thought these photos were so beautiful they could be featured in Vogue. We couldn’t be happier with the stunning photos she captured, and we highly recommend her services to anyone in need of a talented and thoughtful wedding photographer. Thank you for making our day even more magical! 📸✨
Meeting on Pier A Hoboken
Pier A holds a special place in my heart, as it is where I said yes many years ago! For this gorgeous June wedding, we had Keith and his groomsmen arriving first, followed shortly by Jennifer and her bridal party. Witnessing Jennifer and Keith’s heartfelt first look was incredibly touching. After these two had a moment to just take each other in, we captured some beautiful couple portraits, and then the wedding party joined in for some fun group shots. It was the perfect start to a wedding day!
Before the Ceremony: Photos at Sweven
After capturing some amazing outdoor wedding photos, we made our way to Sweven (located on the floor just below Antique Loft). There, I had the opportunity to take more photos of the lovely couple (of course!), but they also had a great time surrounded by their favorite people. One of the things that I truly appreciate about micro weddings is the relaxed atmosphere that permeates throughout the day. It’s incredible to witness couples being truly present and not having to rush from one point to another. When it was time, Keith headed upstairs to welcome their guests, and Jennifer remained hidden until the ceremony began.
Classic Wedding Ideas at an Iconic Hoboken Venue
Antique Loft always exceeds expectations. Jennifer and Keith exchanged vows amidst the captivating backdrop of the Manhattan skyline, enhanced by the soft twinkle of elegant string lighting. With their nearest and dearest in attendance, their union was commemorated by a beloved family friend who combined elements from both Catholic and Jewish traditions, creating an experience that was truly intimate and deeply personal. As they celebrated back down the aisle, we captured the sheer elation on their “Just Married” faces, with their rings taking center stage. Pure Joy!
Classic Wedding Ideas + Mouthwatering Food
After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests mingled and enjoyed a short and sweet cocktail hour on the balcony. As they snacked on mouthwatering appetizers, I snuck inside top the reception venue and captured all of the gorgeous classic wedding ideas they brought in for their day, from the modern mirror seating chart to the stunning acrylic table numbers. Their neutral wedding color palette was the perfect fit for this timeless wedding day.
An Antique Loft Reception
I always love asking my couples what they are most excited about on their wedding day. For Jennifer and Keith, they both agreed they were most excited to celebrate their love with their family and friends. These newlyweds are just so fun-loving and their positive energy is such a joy to be around that love was radiating in the air the entire day. Their wedding reception was complete with champagne toasts and a full dance floor all evening long!
